LUXURY DOG KENNELS
ACCOMMODATION
All our kennels provide heated and insulated accommodation designed to be comfortable, spacious and easy to clean. Individual heating for your dog is also available on request. We can house all breeds of dogs from small to large and have extra-large kennels for families of dogs.
To ensure the greatest comfort for your pet while in our care, please feel free to bring their favourite bedding and toys from home. Other accessories such as dog jackets and leads are also welcome. We have industrial washing machines to clean any soiled items.
BEDDING
All your own belongings should be clearly labelled and you should only be items that we can dispose of they become badly chewed or damaged. Please do not bring items of sentimental or high monetary value as we cannot guarantee their safe return.
We are not liable for any lost/damaged items
MEDICATION
If medication needs to be administered this will be undertaken provided the animal accepts the medication without resistance, and that it can be administered by one of our non-veterinary qualified kennel team.
CARE & WELFARE
In the unfortunate event that a guest becomes ill whilst staying with us, we have access to veterinary services 24 hours a day. Our practice of choice is Vet4pets 01604 753300.
Please notify us on the arrival of any ongoing treatments or known medical conditions affecting your dog.
Please note that we reserve the right to refuse admission to Tollgate of any guest showing signs of ill health.
VACCINATIONS
At Tollgate we care passionately about our guests and will treat your dog as our own giving it all the attention it needs to ensure it settles in quickly and enjoys its time with us to the full
We want all the animals in our care to remain healthy and unfortunately, we cannot admit any guest to Tollgate that is not up-to-date with its vaccinations. On arrival we will require evidence that dogs have been vaccinated for the following;
• Distemper
• Hepatitis
• Leptospirosis
• Canine Parvovirus
• Bordetella (kennel cough)
No pet will be admitted without proof of up-to-date vaccinations.
Vaccinations are via council rules and MUST be in date
We do not insist on kennel cough…However, if you decide to have it done…
It must be done at LEAST 2 weeks before your dogs stay…otherwise we cannot accept your dog.
Failure to adhere to this may result in your dog being refused admission to kennels
how to book
Full payment for short visits ( ie weekend stays ) may be required especially at peak times.
£24.00 per day for each dog.
£2.00 per night for heating
Minimum £40 deposit, per dog, per week of your stay.
Deposit are NON REFUNDABLE and only transferable with 14 days notice.
If your dog is boarding with us over Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year's day the boarding fees will be double.
We are closed bank holidays
New council rules mean all dogs need to be microchipped and we require a small current photo
If your pet to be collected between 8.30-9.30 am no charge will be made for that day. THIS OFFER DOES NOT INCLUDE SUNDAYS.
No extra charge is made for the following:
* administering of medication
* bedtime treats
* washing of soiled bedding
Payment can be made by cash, BACS. Please email or call for BACS details.
We must recieve an email once BACS transfer made to complete booking.
